We don't really do the pretty princess thing at our house, instead Adele was Peter Pan. . .
Cutest Peter Pan I have ever seen. I was determined to take her trick or treating rain or shine! She loved it once she got the hang of it. Every time she hears our doorbell now, she runs to the door with treats yelling, "Trick or Treat". We went to church the next day and to the first person we saw Adele said, "Hi, candy?" Even though people told her what a cute boy she was or that her Robin Hood costume was cute, we enjoyed this Halloween more than any other. The whole family got into the spirit of things for a fun costume party. Tyler made an incredible Captain Hook and well since the Tinkerbell costume no longer fits, I had to go as Hook's sidekick- Smee! (Check out the big old belly peeking out of my shirt- It was perfect!)
First stop, pony rides! Adele is a natural cowgirl. She loved petting her horse as she was riding- she even got a wave in for the picture...
Getting a good look at the baby piglets. They were all nursing at once! So glad I only have one mouth to feed- poor mama pig :(
Adele was so excited for the Big Yellow Slide. She laughed out loud the whole way down!!
Checking out the horses in the stadium Back for round two. Yep Adele and I didn't get enough so we headed back for another day of adventure. Cutest chick I know! She was obsessed with the orange paint on the ground and kept walking on it like a balance beam! She discovered her mama's funnel cake. Seriously who could resist?? Look at those chipmunk cheeks full of yumminess Can't wait for next year!
We just returned from a Hawaiian cruise with 20 people from Tyler's family. Lucky ducky Adele got to join us!
She loved watching the hula dancers. . .
We saw the U.S. Arizona at Pearl Harbor We brought home an outfit so Adele could practice her hula Grammy played with Adele on the beach almost every day We hiked to the waterfalls Tyler sported his D.I. outfits Adele loved the pool on the ship The highlight of the trip was seeing Japanese people taking Adele's photo EVERYWHERE we went. They couldn't get enough of her.
Baby Animal Day in Logan was so much fun this year. This was our first year going and we will be making it an annual tradition. I have always wanted to go- now that I have a kid I have an excuse to be there!
Adele got to pet this little cub! She wasn't real sure about the little duckling She love the baby chicks And of course she loved the kitten! The calf was much bigger than her, but it didn't seem to bother her I loved the baby goats. Adele loved to let it suck on her fingers. It really is such a neat experience to be allowed in the cages to hold and pet these sweet animals. I loved every minute- we had so much fun that I forgot sunscreen and we both ended up with a sunburn.
