Babies First Christmas

Adele was the "star" in the Christmas Eve nativity scene at Ty's parents. Notice the Christmas lights around her body- that was mommy's special touch!
Our cutest neighbor Leslie bought these darling Christmas jammies for Adele
Christmas morning with Adele's new sock monkey from Santa. She also got her two front teeth for Christmas!
Adele's new favorite dolly from the Ridd's. The doll looks just like Adele. . . it has a tuft of hair on top and blue eyes!

Who knew a mustache could be so fun?

I won this crazy set of mustaches at my friends Christmas party this year. Tyler and Adele were a little too comfortable sporting these fine creatures. . .

Adele's Christmas List

Besides her two front teeth, all Adele really wants is this. . . . .
Who wouldn't want this sassy swimsuit for Christmas?

I've been a very good girl!

This little girl will be getting everything on her list because she is so good!

Decorating Help

This was Tyler's idea of helping with Christmas decorating. . . .

I love her holding Tyler's face in this picture.

Skeleton Hair

Adele's skeleton hair was sticking straight out everywhere from our windy walk home from the neighbors! Poor child looks like Albert Einstein. (side note: Tyler calls thin hair skeleton hair)

Adele's First Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving with our neighbors the Knaphus's. Adele enjoyed some yams and potatoes, and of course some chocolate pie.

Morning comes so fast

Every morning I hear Adele wake up, I swear I just went to bed! Our routine is the same every morning. Ty gets her from her crib and brings her to me so I can feed her without even leaving my warm bed- such a nice hubby. Ty is usually so out of it in the morning that I always find something out of the ordinary later on in the day. Last week it was a run away poop that must have rolled out of her diaper when he changed her. Today, her pants were on backwards! After I feed her she watches a Baby Einstein show in her Bumbo so we can get that last 1/2 hour of sleep. Ty always wraps her up to make sure she stays warm :)

More shots

Sixth month appt = more shots! Looking at the picture you would never know that she was a really sad girl. Her thighs are starting to stretch out and slim down from all her crawling. I am going to miss those rolls :)

Halloween is my favorite!

My uncle gave Adele this pacifier and since she doesn't take a binky it made for an interesting photo shoot!
This is why she was a skunk this year- she always scrunches her nose and makes stinky faces then proceeds to breathe really hard through her nose! It makes us laugh every time.
We were fortunate to have been invited to the Fielding's Halloween bash. I went as the lady from the "Birds" and Tyler was a gorilla. . . . in a tux?!
Ty's brother Spencer played his last high school football game at Timpview. They got worked, but we still had fun cheering them on.

I am so proud of this pumpkin I did for Adele. I scraped off just the surface so the words glowed with the candle at night.
This was a costume my mom made for Dallas. It was pretty small so we just put it on her for a second.
Our neighbor Chris always gets the chicks!
Our friends Clint and Elyse had a fun kids party during the day. Adele napped most of the time, so Tyler and I enjoyed all the kids activities.
Our porch was extra scary this year. We had a mechanical goblin that would move when someone came to the door. We also grew 10 pumpkins in our garden this year so we had a porch full of carved pumpkins! Half of the pumpkins aren't even in the pic!
For Halloween night I dressed as the wicked queen from Snow White. It was so fun to see the little girls faces who recognized me. One little girl was so sure that I was the "real" one!
I couldn't keep a straight face- I knew how silly I looked!

Week in heaven

We just returned home from a week in Cabo. It was such a fun trip and we made so many memories (none of which Adele will ever remember!) Oh well, we got to enjoy the sunshine and each other.

Adele hated the ocean and sand, but she loved the swimming pool! Definitely her mama's girl.

Halloween Decor

I bought these fun orange and black ornaments and wasn't quite sure how I could use them. Since my pots were empty, I thought I could somehow use the space. I had it all envisioned in my head. So, I grabbed Tyler and told him to hold still while I climbed on top of his shoulders. Here I am standing on Tyler's shoulders with long clippers in my hand trying to get these branches from the back yard. I almost lost my life, but I got the branches that I wanted. So I hauled them to the front yard where I had some cardboard laid out to spray the branches. Tyler is shaking his head and says, "You know we look like the crazy neighbors with you painting dead branches in the front yard!" So I almost lost my life and am now labeled the crazy neighbor, but I ended up with some pretty cute Halloween decorations.

Snuggly Bear

While daddy bear is away, the little bears come out to play! This is Adele's warm football outfit. These pictures crack me up. She looks like a big stuffed teddy bear. This calls for some serious snuggling tonight! MMM I can't wait. . .

Gook Luck Dad

Tyler is riding his bike (yes his bicycle) to Vegas. They left this morning and are riding over a hundred miles a day for four days. His office does this ride for charity every year. This year they are donating the money to the tsunami victims in Samoa. Check this out to donate or to get more information.

Mommy did some damage. . .

I did some serious damage today at Nordstrom, oops!! My latest obsession is shopping for clothes for Adele. I think I need a new hobby- this one is getting a bit pricey. Funny how I spend my days dresses in rags, but Adele is always dressed with nicer things than I own. She is like my little doll that I can play dress ups with.  Every morning she wakes up and we put on an outfit, she usually barfs or poops or gets it dirty and then we just put another cute one on. Some days we go through several. I am glad for now that she doesn't have an opinion on the matter :D

High Chair Please

Enjoying rice cereal in her high chair.  She looks so small in it now, but I know it won't be long before I can barely squeeze her in there!

More shots-so sad

Poor baby had more shots, she is tougher than I am (she didn't even cry!) I am so glad the nurse found a band-aid to match her outfit :)

So in Love

This little princess holds the keys to her dad's heart! She gets so excited to see him when he comes home from work.
