Adele's First Camping Trip

After being turned away from 4 campsites, we finally ended up at Smith and Moorehouse for the night. Adele was loving the fire and sitting with her daddy.

We got her all snuggly and ready for bed.

Morning seemed to come so fast. After a pretty cold night, we were so glad to have the heater on!!

Definitely not an easy trip, but so worth it! We were glad to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

One year of practice

Hawaii Cruise

We just returned from a Hawaiian cruise with 20 people from Tyler's family. Lucky ducky Adele got to join us!

She loved watching the hula dancers. . .

We saw the U.S. Arizona at Pearl Harbor
We brought home an outfit so Adele could practice her hula
Grammy played with Adele on the beach almost every day
We hiked to the waterfalls
Tyler sported his D.I. outfits
Adele loved the pool on the ship
The highlight of the trip was seeing Japanese people taking Adele's photo EVERYWHERE we went. They couldn't get enough of her.

Baby Animal Day

Baby Animal Day in Logan was so much fun this year. This was our first year going and we will be making it an annual tradition. I have always wanted to go- now that I have a kid I have an excuse to be there!

The calf was much bigger than her, but it didn't seem to bother her
I loved the baby goats. Adele loved to let it suck on her fingers.

It really is such a neat experience to be allowed in the cages to hold and pet these sweet animals. I loved every minute- we had so much fun that I forgot sunscreen and we both ended up with a sunburn.

Do you know the way to San Jose?

We went down to San Jose for Bobbie's wedding. While we were down there we made a quick trip over to San Francisco. We loved the street performers and the chowder!

We visited the Palace of Fine Arts. They had a great children's museum that all of us adults really enjoyed. This is a picture of Dallas "learning"
